Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name for Winona Laura Hoowitz who was who was born within Winona Minnesota. The parents of her daughter named her in honor of her hometown. Michel Horowitz was her father and Cynthia Palmer, his mother, were both authors as well as editors. Ryder's parents also happen to be Jewish. Ryder believes herself to being Jewish. Ryder is the younger sister of Uria who is half-sister to Jubal & Sunyata. Ryder moved with her family to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. The family was in a house that didn't have electric power. Ryder became an avid reading book because there was no television. Ryder began taking acting lessons in the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983 aged 12 years old. In 1986, she got her first role on the big screen in the film Lucas she was only 15 years old. Ryder experienced bullying at high school. Ryder was hopeful that her work as an actress would help. However, it didn't come pass. The actress continued to chase her goals. In 1988, when Tim Burton released Beetlejuice that was her breakthrough. Ryder was a star in various films. Two Academy Awards were nominated, one for The Age of Innocence (1996).
